Yakuza Kiwami is an extreme action-packed game developed by Ryu ga Gotoku Studio. The game is set in Kamurocho in 1995, where Kazuma Kiryu takes the fall for the murder of a crime boss to protect his sworn brother, Akira Nishikiyama, and his childhood friend, Yumi. Fast forward to 2005, Kiryu is released from prison to a world he no longer recognizes, with Nishikiyama becoming a changed man and Yumi nowhere to be found.
